Randy began playing accordion around age 8 Studying at Professional Music Center. He played during the golden age of accordion which crashed and burned when the beatles debuted. Randy's accordion went in the closet when he was 12 (with the rest of the country's). He rocked and rolled until the mid 80's when he dicovered a treasure hidden in his closet; An Accordion!!! Randy played accordion on and off until he opened Castle Accordion. Since 1999 he has been studying with local accordion great Larry Malmberg. Randy enjoys playing Cajun, Irish & Polka music on his accordion. To learn more about Randy stop by the Castle, he would be glad to tell you his unabridged life story. |
